The clicking sound of high heels, an elevator which always gets stuck, a majestic canal house, sunsets in Amsterdam. ‘Paradise’ observes the life of Mrs. Lindemans, an older woman of the Dutch upper class who lives in her own bubble, isolated from the rest of the world. She experiences the consequences of the global financial crisis.
