Fast cuts, domestic scenes and a lifeless character, the audiovisual piece presents a nonlinear story where the character seems to be stuck in a state of limbo. Between conscious thought and mindless performance, we dive into the psyche of a character that recoils into fantasy to escape a mundane and uncertain existence.
A portrait of a state of being, Beit explores the fragile state of a generation stuck between childhood fantasies and adulthood responsibilities, as the desire for individualism and independence often subsides to make way for the nostalgia of childhood safety and the need for security through material possession.
